This is the second year a group of women from the Friendship Quilt Guild taught quilting classes at the College for Kids program located at the UW Richland Campus. They worked with a really sweet group of kids. Carol had the only male student and he was very artistic. All 24 students (except one that missed on Friday and she’ll finish later with her teacher) finished their quilts and were very happy with them. One student reported on her evaluation that she wanted to sew all day and another thought it was real special to have one on one teaching and really get to know her teacher and make a new friend.
